The constant improvements of the CAE process (from subsystem levels to the full car itself) and the development of optimization tools to reduce the mass and increase the performances led us to use the simulation as one very efficient tool capable to explore and validate many different kinds of configurations, impossible to test physically. Which state of art can we expect now and what are the main challenges to solve in the next years? We will try to answer to these questions during the presentation
